Generative AI startup Vodex has raised $2 million in a seed funding round led by notable investors Unicorn India Ventures and Pentathlon Ventures.

By simulating human-like voice interactions, The startup aims to transform the customer engagement experience, offering a more personal and efficient alternative to traditional call centres.

What is the purpose of fundraising?

Founded in 2022 by Anshul Shrivastava and Kumar Saurav, Vodex claims to have achieved $1 million in Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) in less than a year. The startup plans to use the raised capital for its global expansion efforts and scale the business by at least fourfold within the next year.

It aims to broaden its reach and solidify its position as a leader in GenAI-driven sales, primarily targeting markets in the USA and Canada.

Building a dedicated support team 

Acknowledging the critical role of customer service in the success of any tech solution, Vodex plans to allocate a portion of the funds towards building a dedicated and highly trained support team.

Anshul Shrivastava, CEO of Vodex, emphasized the importance of this initiative, stating, "Vodex will invest in building a dedicated and highly trained support team to ensure exceptional customer service." This move aims to ensure that Vodex not only leads in technology innovation but also sets high standards for customer satisfaction.
