Genpact, a global professional services firm, has announced its intention to hire over 5,000 graduate apprentices through the Ministry of Education apprenticeship programme.

The initiative, in partnership with TeamLease Degree Apprenticeship (TLDA), aims to bridge the skill gap by providing hands-on training and supervision to aspiring professionals.

"In collaboration with Genpact, who will employ 5,000 graduate apprentices, we are committed to bridging the skill gap that will provide aspiring professionals with practical, hands-on training and supervision, ensuring they flourish in a tough environment and build successful careers," said Dhriti Prasanna Mahanta, Vice President, TeamLease Degree Apprenticeship.

Apprenticeships have become vital for talent acquisition in the past 4-5 years. Genpact's partnership with TeamLease aims to address the industry's skill deficit of 3.85 million, particularly in the IT and BPM sectors.

The 12-month Graduate Apprenticeship Programme offers a unique blend of work experience and formal education, focusing on both technical training and soft skill development.

Hiring across the country

Genpact is hiring across the country, inviting job applications for various roles from experienced professionals and fresh graduates.

Programs offered: The NEXTGEN Campus Graduate Program is designed for graduates seeking their first full-time role. The NEXTGEN Internship Program is aimed at students looking to gain practical business experience during their academic studies.
