The journey from idea to implementation was both challenging and exhilarating. The founders initially raised an angel round of Rs 26 lakh to kickstart their project.

By September 2021, the Noida-based startup launched its Minimum Viable Product (MVP) web application, which included essential features for managing customer reviews. This milestone set the foundation for further development and enhancement of the platform. 

The startup’s mission was clear: to empower businesses with innovative tools to manage their online reputation, engage customers more effectively, and support business growth. In January 2023, Rannkly raised Rs 1.25 crore from 100X VC, which helped the startup scale its operations and further enhance its platform's capabilities.

By June 2024, Rannkly had partnered with over 500 brands and expanded to more than 1,800 locations. Notably, the startup’s Q3 revenue reached an impressive Rs 1 crore.

The startup's target customers primarily include businesses in the hospitality, healthcare, education, and entertainment industries that are focused on managing their online reputation and improving customer engagement.

Some of its notable clients are Clarks Hotels & Resorts, Pride Hotels, Radisson Blu, Lemon Tree Hotels, Sterling Holiday Resorts Limited, MGM Muthu Hotels, Blue Tokai Coffee Roasters, Sarovar Hotels, Jaypee Hospital, and Ramoji Film City.

The startup claims that its online platform has the ability to deliver comprehensive analytics and reporting tools and has helped businesses make data-driven decisions, optimize their strategies, and improve overall performance.

Unlike others, Rannkly provides deep insights into customer sentiment and behaviour with the help of advanced AI integration.

Future plans

Looking ahead, Rannkly plans for continued growth and innovation. By March 2025, the startup aims to be present in over 5,000 locations with a projected monthly revenue of Rs 1 crore.

It is also focused on introducing new AI-driven features for enhanced customer interaction, expanding its market reach to new industries and geographies, and building strategic partnerships to provide integrated solutions for its clients.
