3D geospatial platform Heliware has raised Rs 4 crore in a pre-Series A funding round led by the JITO Incubation and Innovation Foundation (JIIF), with participation from TiE and Vatvistaar Ventures.

This financial boost is expected to fuel the startup's efforts in product expansion and further development of geospatial technologies.

What does Heliware do?

Founded in 2018 by Rajan Srivastav, Heliware specializes in analytics, modeling, simulation, and visualization of spatial data. The startup provides tailored software and services for sectors such as defense, solar, construction, and urban planning.

"Our software empowers companies to create geospatial solutions faster, smarter, and more securely, enabling efficient, data-driven decision-making," Srivastav said.

Purpose of the funding

The startup plans to use the raised capital to support the launch of its upcoming products, Bhumi Maps and Bhumi Builder, which are designed to enable users to perform geospatial analysis and develop geospatial software.

By creating such products, it aims to empower various industries with accessible and advanced geospatial solutions.

The startup's no-code platform makes complex geospatial tools more accessible for professionals without programming experience.

This innovation aligns with Heliware’s mission to support industries that rely heavily on spatial data, such as urban planning and infrastructure development.

Heliware claims that it currently serves over 100 clients across five countries.
