Actress Parineeti Chopra takes investor role in personal care brand Clensta

Parineeti Chopra, who is known for her acting prowess in Bollywood, is now expanding her professional career as she has joined the personal care brand Clensta as a strategic investor.

According to the brand, Chopra has acquired a substantial minority stake in the brand, which is heralded as a pioneer in the health and personal care industry.

I discovered Clensta on the internet with the Eggstreme shampoo and conditioner, which I used and found to be amazing," said Parineeti Chopra.

Founded in 2016 by Puneet Gupta, Clensta said it aims to create clean, effective, and sustainable personal care solutions that improve consumer well-being while diminishing their carbon footprint.

The brand sells a variety of products, including wellness, haircare, skincare, eye care, lip care, and body care.

Apart from Parineeti Chopra, The brand has raised capital from notable names such as TradeCred, the Royal family from UAE, Ex-Im Bank of India, Mumbai Angels, Keiretsu, LetsVenture, O2 VC Fund, and others.

Clensta has also had associations with esteemed entities like IIT Delhi, Caspian Impact, and US-AID in the past. Notably, all of Clensta's proprietary technologies are developed at IIT Delhi. This includes the STAR (Safe Transdermal Absorption of the Reactive Ingredients Technology) system, which facilitates efficient and safe transdermal absorption of reactive ingredients. Another significant technology is CRAN (Complete Release of Active Nutrients), which ensures the smooth integration of essential nutrients for the health of hair, skin, and overall body wellness.
