LiaPlus AI, an AI-driven customer support automation platform, has raised Rs 2 crore in a seed funding round led by Inflection Point Ventures, a Gurugram-based angel investment firm. 

The round also saw participation from Chandigarh Angel Network, Growth Sense and Growth91.

The startup plans to use the raised capital towards team expansion, forging global partnerships, and advancing technology.

Founded by Smridhi Seth (COO) and Shailesh Jaiswal (CEO), LiaPlus provides AI employees—AI customer support agents that offer 24/7 support in 18 different languages, including English, Hindi, and Arabic.

The startup said that the AI assistant not only conducts customer interactions but also takes post-call actions such as sending emails and WhatsApp messages, enabling businesses to focus on strategic decision-making and networking.

The AI assistant integrates seamlessly with over 6,000 apps and provides an intuitive, user-friendly dashboard.

“LiaPlus AI isn’t just automating calls; we’re transforming the way businesses connect with their customers, making every interaction smarter, faster, and more meaningful," Seth said.

Who are the founders?

Shailesh Jaiswal is a MA Postgraduate specialising in Organizational Behaviour from the University of Delhi. 

As an Indian entrepreneur and AI researcher, he has garnered extensive consulting experience with multinational corporations, focusing on prompt engineering and the automation of customer support and sales processes.

On the other hand, Smridhi Seth is also an MA Postgraduate from the University of Delhi, with over five years of experience in data science, R&D and behavioural analysis.

She has worked with clients across healthcare, hospitality, and technology sectors to drive AI- driven growth and innovation.

The AI Software & Services market, currently valued at around $100 billion, is expected to grow to $300-320 billion in the same timeframe.

Conversational AI is also booming, with the global market set to hit $13.9 billion by 2025 at a CAGR of 21.9%. The global intelligent virtual assistant market is projected to grow at a CAGR of 47.5%, reaching $47.3 billion by 2027. 

The chatbot and intelligent virtual assistant sector shows strong potential, with a Total Addressable Market (TAM) of $14 billion, Serviceable Available Market (SAM) of $800 million, and Serviceable Obtainable Market (SOM) of $120 million.
