Beatoven.ai, an AI music startup, has raised $1.3 million in a pre-Series A funding round led by Capital 2B and Entrepreneur First, with participation from new investors such as IvyCap Ventures, Upsparks Capital, Rukam Capital, and several angel investors.

The startup's founders, Mansoor Rahimat Khan and Siddharth Bhardwaj, aim to redefine music production by offering a platform that allows content creators to generate high-quality, royalty-free music effortlessly.

Expanding creative horizons

The startup plans to use the fresh capital to refine the platform's music accuracy and quality and introduce advanced editing features to enrich the user experience.

Beatoven.ai is currently exploring multimodal inputs that enable users to generate music aligned with video, images, text, and audio references. 

Supporting independent artists

Beatoven.ai is focused on supporting independent musicians through an artist-friendly data-sourcing program. Recognized for its ethical practices, the program aims to build a collaborative environment that benefits both creators and artists.

The startup claims to have partnered with over 200 artists and plans to expand to at least 500 in the next two to three years.

 Establishing presence in global markets 

The startup said that its user base exceeds 1 million globally, and 96% of its revenue stems from international markets. It aims to establish a significant presence in global markets such as the US, Europe, and South Korea. 

Beatoven.ai stands as India's first and only AI-driven music tech startup, providing a unique platform for music composers and content creators. The platform offers a vast library of mood-based tunes across multiple genres, enabling the creation of original, licensable, and cost-efficient music tracks.

The platform democratizes music production, allowing even those with minimal musical knowledge to create soundtracks for their content, thus solving the music acquisition and licensing challenges many creators face today.
