AI-powered edtech startup Shaktimaan.ai has raised $2 million in a seed funding round led by YCombinator, Fundersclub, Goodwater Capital, Misbah and Nishchay (Founders of Jar), along with other angel investors.
According to the startup, the raised capital would be used towards building an LLM (Language Model) trained for diverse educational use cases, thus enhancing the platform's capabilities and adaptability.
Vimal Singh Rathore, CEO of Shaktimaan & Qoohoo, said, “When I encountered GenAI last year, it struck me that this could be a game-changer in education, particularly in a nation like ours where quality teaching is often beyond reach. Co-founded by Vimal Singh Rathore, a top educator and serial entrepreneur, and Aseem Gupta, who brings technological innovation to the platform as the tech co-founder. Shaktimaan.ai said it is working on transforming the learning experience for competitive exam candidates while addressing the hurdles students face during their preparation.
Shaktimaan's current offerings include real-time doubt resolution and personalized feedback, with detailed evaluations of students' handwritten answers.
This approach enables UPSC aspirants with targeted assistance and efficient study plans. Shaktimaan.ai aims to revolutionize the educational landscape, making learning more accessible, engaging, and personalized through the application of Artificial Intelligence.
