Rakesh Vaddadi and Silus Reddy, Cofounders of Beacon.li
Beacon.li, an AI-powered product assistant that aims to simplify enterprise software adoption, has secured $7 million in a Series A funding round led by Sorin Investments.
The round also saw participation from Athera Venture Partners, JAFCO Asia and existing investor Unicorn India Ventures, along with several prominent angel investors such as Aneesh Reddy (CEO, Capillary Technologies), Kapil Bharti (CTO, Delhivery), and Aravind Sanka (CEO, Rapido).
The startup plans to use the funds to expand its AI capabilities, grow its global operations and enhance its enterprise automation solutions.
AI assistant transforming enterprise software
Beacon.li was founded by entrepreneurs Rakesh Vaddadi and Silus Reddy. The startup's online platform integrates directly with enterprise systems, automating tasks, answering user queries and generating documentation in real time.
They describe Beacon.li as an “AI Action Orchestrator” that learns about an organization’s software without needing direct access to servers or databases. By simulating user behavior, it helps companies reduce support overhead, improve user experiences and maintain consistent documentation.
Focus on efficiency and user adoption
According to Vaddadi, Beacon.li’s customers have reported an 80% reduction in support volume and a four-fold jump in user adoption. He believes AI-driven automation is now essential for enterprises looking to stay customer-centric.
As software gets more complex, Beacon.li’s AI agent is designed to simplify the user experience, making it easier for employees to find features, troubleshoot problems and automate routine processes.
Led by Sorin Investments
Sorin Investments is an investment firm co-founded by former KKR India CEO Sanjay Nayar and The Caravel Group COO Angad Banga.
The firm focuses on backing technology-driven ventures in fintech, software-as-a-service (SaaS) and other B2B technology segments.
Partner Subeer Monga said Beacon.li addresses a pressing need in the $250 billion global enterprise software market. "Beacon.li is addressing a critical pain point by enhancing efficiency and product adoption. At Sorin, we back visionary founders leading industry transformation, and we are excited to support Rakesh, Silus, and their team as they scale globally," Monga added.
Beacon.li claims that it serves clients in India and the United States, including Darwinbox, Zluri, KekHR and Planful, and it plans to use its new capital to further extend its reach.
