Andhra QSR brand Babai Tiffins has secured Rs 10.5 crore in funding on Bharat Ke Super Founders (BKSF), comprising Rs 8 crore equity for 10% stake and Rs 2.5 crore debt.
Founded in 2021, Babai Tiffins is building an organised QSR chain for authentic Andhra-style cuisine and positions itself as “the Rameshwaram Cafe for Andhra food.”
The brand currently operates 3 outlets in Bengaluru and plans to expand to 6 locations over the next 18 months.
Babai Tiffins is led by co-founders Ravi and Shriram, with Ravi bringing a unique journey from an agricultural family to Infosys, and later entrepreneurship. The brand sees the informal food sector as its biggest competition, aiming to bring structure and scale to regional Indian cuisine.
Bharat Ke Super Founders is an Indian founder-first entrepreneurial television series designed to bring structured, growth-stage capital to startups solving real-world problems. Hosted and mentored by bollywood actor Suniel Shetty, the show facilitates equity and debt investments based on fundamentals such as technology depth, scalability, and long-term value creation, moving beyond symbolic pitch formats.
