Astrology platform InstaAstro raises $2.3M led by Artha Venture Fund, others

InstaAstro, an online astrology platform, has raised Rs 18.50 crore (approximately $2.3 million) in a pre-Series A funding round led by Artha Venture Fund.

The round also saw participation from LogX Ventures, Singularity Ventures, IR Capital Partners, Blume Founders Fund and Aloke Bajpai, MD & CEO of Ixigo.

With the new influx of capital, InstaAstro is set to launch several new services that aim to deepen user engagement and broaden its spiritual and astrological offerings.

Introducing a new set of services

According to Nitin Verma, Founder and CEO of InstaAstro, the company will introduce spiritual e-commerce, daily pooja, and Reiki healing services.

“Navigating the cosmic journey of growth with our recent ARR achievement and the trust placed in us by our esteemed investors is exhilarating. Our new services are just the beginning. We’re poised for global expansion, aiming to connect more deeply with spiritual seekers worldwide," Verma said.

What does InstaAstro do?

InstaAstro claims to have quickly become a powerhouse with over 200,000 monthly app installs and a daily consultation time exceeding 50,000 minutes.

InstaAstro is rightly positioned to capture a large share of the astrology market by providing reliable and affordable access to its consumers. The online astrology market is ready for disruption, and InstaAstro’s differentiated offerings are reflected in the rapid yet sustainable growth of its revenues.”

InstaAstro’s growth?

InstaAstro has built a significant user base, boasting over 5 million users and providing more than 20 million minutes of cumulative consultation in FY24 alone.

The company currently hosts 1,500 astrologers on its platform, offering a variety of services, including horoscopes, tarot readings, and numerology in multiple languages such as English, Hindi, and several regional dialects.

The online astrology sector is increasingly competitive, with several key players like GaneshaSpeaks, AstroTalk, Click Astro, and Bodhi making notable advancements.

InstaAstro, however, has marked its presence by emphasizing personalized consultations and now, with expanded services that cater to a holistic spiritual experience.
