Bengaluru-based Kapture CX, a B2B SaaS-based customer support automation platform, has raised $4 million Rs 33.2 crore in a Series A funding round led by India Alternatives, a prominent private equity fund. The current round brings Kapture CX's all-time raise to $8 million.

“We are experiencing tailwinds across the large and global enterprise segment that have made us capitalise on Gen AI capabilities. We are confident that a value-added and relationship-oriented partner like India Alternatives will help us bolster our position as a leading SaaS player across India and global markets,” said Vikas Garg, co-founder of Kapture CX.

What is the purpose of fundraising?

With this round of funding, the startup plans to utilize these funds to enhance its product capabilities and accelerate the development of advanced AI technologies. The move aims to offer a more innovative and personalized customer experience.

Kapture CX, co-founded by Vikas Garg and Sheshgiri Kamath in 2014, has established a strong presence in countries like the USA, UAE, Indonesia, and Saudi Arabia.

Product offerings 

Kapture CX's product suite, known as Kapture One Suite, includes a range of solutions like a contact centre, service centre, field agents management system, live chat solution, and AI-based self-service tools.

The platform caters to a diverse clientele, including major enterprises like Nykaa, Meesho, BigBasket, Tata 1MG, Reliance, Unilever, and ITC. The startup claims to have crossed the 1,000 customer mark in 19 countries and plans to expand its team by adding 100 more employees in the coming year.

How well did Kapture CX perform financially in FY23?

Kapture CX's holding entity, Adjetter Media Network Pvt Ltd, claims to have witnessed a 44% increase in operating revenue to Rs 30.30 crore in FY23 from Rs 20.79 Cr in FY22. However, it's noteworthy that the company's profit declined in FY23 to Rs 13.43 lakh compared to FY22's profit of Rs 1.06 crore.

Despite this, Kapture CX competes effectively in the market against other players like Fresh Works, Zoho, and Salesforce.
