Shark Tank India-featured Beyond Snack raises $3.5M led by NABVENTURES Fund

Alappuzha, Kerala-based banana chips brand Beyond Snack has raised $3.5 million in funding from NABVENTURES Fund as it aims to accelerate expansion and fuel further innovation in the snacks market. 

The startup plans to use the raised capital to enhance its distribution network, supply chain capabilities, and invest in research and development (R&D).

Founded in 2020 by Manas Madhu, Jyoti Rajguru and Gautam Raghuraman, Beyond Snack is a plant-based savoury snacks which gained recognition after appearing in Shark Tank India in 2022 and raising funds from the judges.

The brand, which rapidly expanded its retail presence in Maharashtra, claims to have a strong presence in online marketplaces such as Amazon, Flipkart, Big Basket, Blinkit, Swiggy, and Zepto and aims to expand retail presence across 10 states and 25 cities in the coming year.

Additionally, the brand has achieved significant progress in global markets, establishing its presence in countries like the United States, the United Arab Emirates, Australia, Sweden, Qatar, Nepal, Singapore, and Mauritius, the startup said.

Prior to this round, Beyong Snaks had raised funds from 100X.VC and notable angel investors and networks like Faad Network.

In Shark Tank India Season 1, The brand raised funds from BharatPe's Ashneer Grover and boAt's Aman Gupta.
