Iztri, a Bengaluru-based clothing care startup, has raised Rs 1.5 crore in a pre-seed funding round from AJVC, led by Aviral Bhatnagar.
Iztri plans to deploy the new capital to deepen its presence across Bengaluru and reinforce the technology layer that drives its operations. The startup will invest in workflow automation, customer experience tools and operational intelligence so that its network can handle growing demand without compromising service consistency.
Founded by Rohit Ramesh and Ankit Choudhary, Iztri offers a structured, tech enabled ironing and clothes care service at a time when the sector continues to be fragmented and inefficient. The startup is building a hyperlocal model that brings standardised turnaround times, reliable service quality and safer working conditions for ironing professionals.
Its platform focuses on predictable delivery schedules, route optimisation and demand consolidation. The startup aims to reduce idle time for workers and increase their daily order throughput, which in turn improves earnings. As it scales, Iztri is also expanding its processing centres and investing in staff development and performance management systems.
The investment comes as AJVC expands its exposure to technology and consumer facing businesses. The firm recently closed its maiden fund with commitments of more than Rs 200 crore, more than double its original target. It has backed startups across civic tech, automobile services, jewellery and FMCG, including Jaagruk Bharat, GaadiMech.com, Nuyug and Mithila Foods.
