Bengaluru-based Flytant has raised an undisclosed amount in funding from ShuruUp as it aims to transform the influencer marketing industry.

The raised capital would help the company develop cutting-edge technologies, enhance flagship products and reinforce its position as a leading influencer marketplace.

Becoming the second-largest influencer platform

Since its inception in 2020, Flytant said it has quickly ascended to become the second-largest influencer platform in India and the third-largest globally.

The startup claims to have over 600,000 registered influencers and partnerships with more than 1,800 brands worldwide.

Vivek Rai, Flytant's founder, said the company plans to expand into the USA and MENA regions, aiming to establish Flytant as the largest influencer marketplace by the end of the year. "We are changing the way the influencer marketing industry works and ensuring influencers can monetize their social media content with great ease," he said.

Democratizing influencer marketing

Flytant's platform is known for its scalability and democratized approach, enabling influencers of all sizes, from nano to macro, to effortlessly monetize their content.

Rai highlights the platform's unique selling proposition: the ability to connect brands and influencers directly, eliminating commissions and simplifying the collaboration process. The model, which is powered by AI algorithms, streamlines the matching of influencers with brands, challenging the traditional agency-based approach.

Introducing Flytant Ads

Flytant plans to launch Flytant Ads in the latter half of the year. The company said the product will provide influencers with even more seamless access to sponsorships, allowing for greater scalability of campaigns.

According to Rai, Flytant Ads will be a game-changer in the industry, facilitating direct connections between brands and influencers for more effective collaborations.

"With the growing trend in number of Influencers and the amount of content creation happening on social media along with content consumption in India, it seems necessary to have a platform that helps Influencers to avail sponsorships directly from brands and monetise their social media content," ShuruUp said.

"Flytant helps Influencers to monetise their content through sponsorships from brands, do networking with fellow influencers, create and manage their portfolio and all these without any manual intervention which proves the scalability of the platform. With the growing number of content creators in India, it is time to revolutionise the Influencer Marketplace and ensure the market is well democratised and influencers are paid as per their work," It added.
