Raipur's BetterSpace raises pre-Seed funding of Rs 45 lakh led by PedalStart

Raipur-based mental healthtech startup BetterSpace has raised Rs 45 lakh in a pre-seed funding round led by PedalStart, a renowned startup community-builder and accelerator. Prior to this, the startup was primarily self-funded.

Enhancing offline and online services 

According to the startup, the raised capital would be utilized towards enhancing both offline and online services, developing new products including games and toolkits, and improving marketing and brand visibility.

Additionally, It aims to optimize technology and its app to increase accessibility on various devices, and to attract and acquire new talent.

What does BetterSpace do?

Since its inception, BetterSpace claims to have conducted over 5000 offline sessions across various institutions in India, impacting over 2 lakh people.

Co-founded in 2020 by Shivli Shrivastava and Abhilash Shrivastava, The startup offers psychologist-led counselling, workshops, and community engagement programs. It have developed a mobile app and other self-paced products and toolkits for mental health improvement. 

BetterSpace plans to launch innovative solutions like the Imagi box, Therapy Pods, and a mental wellness game for families. The startup also aims to expand their operational footprint across India and internationally in the coming year.
