Bengaluru-based kitchen appliances startup Beyond Appliances has raised $4 million (about Rs 34 crore) in a Series A funding round led by existing investor Fireside Ventures, with participation from Dharana Capital.
The startup had previously secured $2 million in November 2024, also from Fireside.
Founded in 2024 by Eshwar K Vikas and Rakesh Patil, Beyond Appliances focuses on building smart kitchen devices tailored for Indian households. Its current product line includes a smart stove with digital timers and whistle counters, and Android-powered chimneys that enable users to stream content, play music, set reminders and create grocery lists through integrated apps. The portfolio also extends to plug-and-play chimneys and smart hobs.
The startup operates four factories in Bengaluru, producing about 8,000–10,000 units per month. With rising demand, it plans to establish two additional facilities by the end of this financial year to bolster capacity.
“From everyday essentials to smart, tech-driven innovations, our mission is to make high-quality, beautifully designed appliances the standard in every home, not a privilege for a few. As we expand our manufacturing backbone, scale operations, and bring innovative products to market at an accelerated pace, our vision is to create a category-defining brand that reimagines home and kitchen experiences for millions of households across India,” said Eshwar K Vikas, Co-Founder & CEO, Beyond Appliances.
Beyond Appliances estimates the combined stove and chimney market in India to be worth $2 billion. While stoves are growing at a modest 10% annually as a replacement-led category, chimneys are expanding faster at 25% CAGR. The startup is betting on premiumisation, pointing to increased consumer appetite for safety features and digitally integrated appliances.
Currently, about 80% of its sales come from online marketplaces, with metro and tier-I cities accounting for 60%. The startup sells its products through its own website, Amazon, Flipkart, and select retail outlets in Bengaluru and Hyderabad. It is preparing to expand its offline presence to Mumbai and Delhi by partnering with large-format retailers and modern trade chains.
Beyond Appliances, which reported an annual revenue run rate of about Rs 50 crore, expects to double it within a year on the back of new manufacturing capacity and expanding distribution.
Suchi Pandya, Principal, Fireside Ventures, said, “Beyond Appliances has carved out a distinctive position in a highly competitive market by delivering both product excellence and consumer trust. Its strong manufacturing foundation, customer-centric approach, and relentless focus on innovation position it uniquely in the home and kitchen appliances category. We believe the brand is perfectly poised for long-term growth, and we’re excited to deepen our partnership as it scales while maintaining the quality and design excellence that set it apart.”
