AI startup Bhindi.io has raised $4 million in a pre-Seed funding round led by Cyber Fund, which also backed founder Sowmay Jain’s DeFi protocol, Fluid.io.

The startup said the latest investment will go toward product development, ramping up global go-to-market efforts, and scaling operations.

While AI adoption has surged over the past two years, Bhindi said many frequent users experience significant burnout, often referred to as AI fatigue. Unlike tools that require constant prompting, Bhindi’s platform mimics human behavior, allowing tasks to run autonomously. Its background agents operate around the clock while users are offline, improving productivity and easing the strain of repetitive interactions.

“Bhindi lets you mimic human behavior by setting up background agents. These are your shadow agents grinding for you. You can also give complex workflows,” said Sowmay Jain. It’s one app, powered by agents, designed to execute intent across domains.

“This shift from 'text-to-action' toward 'intent-to-action' will redefine how humans interact with technology.”

The startup claims to have attracted thousands of users, who have logged over 333,000 messages across 21,913 conversations, and driven 52,330 agent executions, with 300+ agents. The platform rapidly evolved beyond productivity use-cases into workflows across crypto, fintech, creative content, research, scheduling, and more within a single interface.

Bhindi offers a unified interface that brings together more than 300 AI agents. The platform is designed to help users focus on high-leverage thinking while Bhindi handles operational tasks in the background. The startup said it has attracted over 5,000 users, with 80% of them split evenly between India and the United States.

In the crypto space, Bhindi enables users to instantly track CoinDCX portfolio changes, log profit and loss statements, and receive AI-powered Gmail alerts that provide market context for significant coin movements.

For developers, Bhindi can automatically review new GitHub pull requests, identify bugs or potential improvements using its Code Interpreter, and post detailed feedback as comments before a manual review takes place.

In fintech, it integrates with a stock trading app that allows users to check live prices, place buy or sell orders, and monitor their portfolios through a simple chat interface.

The platform also streamlines marketing workflows by automating influencer outreach. It identifies relevant YouTube creators, extracts their data, generates tailored promotional messages in a Google Sheet, and enables automated delivery of those messages via Gmail.
