Bollywood actor Suniel Shetty has invested Gurugram-based REGRIP, a sustainable startup specializing in refurbished tyres.
The startup claims that it utilizes high-quality rubber in its reengineering process to create economical tyres that are competitively priced, often at half the cost of new tyres.
"This cost-effective approach has made Regrip a favored choice among small to medium-sized trucking companies. However, what truly sets the brand apart is its innovative and eco-conscious business model. "We're not just redefining the concept of re-cycled, safe, economical high-quality tyres but also contributing to a greener future by reducing waste and maximizing the lifecycle of each tyre," said Shetty.
He further expressed his anticipation about the new partnership, stating, "By embracing innovation and sustainable practices, we can create a better world for generations to come."
Regrip was previously backed by Mahavir Pratap Sharma, its first investor. Sharma praised the company's focus on refurbishing tyres as a "win-win solution" for his investment portfolio.
Echoing Shetty's sentiments, Tushar Suhalka, the founder of Regrip, highlighted the brand's mission. "Through our tyre refurbishment process, we strive to provide affordable solutions, reduce waste, and contribute to a greener and cleaner planet," Suhalka explained.
