Climatetech startup Newtral.io raises funding from PedalStart

The startup said it plans to use the raised capital to accelerate the development of its cutting-edge product portfolio focused on carbon accounting and sustainability reporting needs.

Bengaluru-based climate tech startup Newtral.io has raised Rs 64 lakh in a funding round led by PedalStart, a Gurugram-based startup accelerator focused on supporting early-stage startups. 

The startup said it plans to use the raised capital to accelerate the development of its cutting-edge product portfolio focused on carbon accounting and sustainability reporting needs.

Founded in 2022 by Avi Chudasama, Anuraag Paul, and Vinod Kumar Sonagara, Newtral.io is an innovative provider of enterprise sustainability software, empowering organizations to achieve net zero emissions. 

The climatetech startup helps enterprises effectively measure carbon emissions, identify areas for emissions reduction, create custom dashboards, and seamlessly adopt sustainable practices.

Launched in 2021, PedalStart helps build founders through their start-up ideas with the help of ex-entrepreneurs, successful start-up founders, domain experts, and angel investors. It has over 10,000 start-ups, 300 mentors, 800 founders building ideas, and 1200 house discussions.
