Bengaluru-based Zulu Defence System, an innovative deftech startup, has closed a $750,000 seed funding round led by Finvolve.

The startup pioneers in Advanced Air Defence Aerial Systems for rapid deployment, resilient ISR, precision strike and countermeasure capabilities in contested environments.

Addressing the needs of the Indian Armed Forces

The startup said it has built niche patentable technology that can address the needs of the Indian Armed Forces and the global market. Its technologically advanced products cater to Future Warfare as a use case and reduce India’s burden of procuring these from other nations by paying a much higher price.

The startup claims to have in-house capacity to indigenously develop the hardware and software and has a minimum of 3 years of advantage over any competitor to build similar technology.

Focused on expanding global footprint

The startup is focused on expanding its global footprint by providing innovative, unique, and advanced air defence solutions for the evolving needs of military users in complex, contested environments.

Lt. Gen. Anil Chait, Chief Advisor of Robotics and Unmanned Systems thesis of India Accelerator mentioned “Having seen first-hand the need for battlefield tech that's both agile and effective. Zulu Defence's advanced warfare technology is a game-changer. Their unique approach offers increased precision, faster deployment that could give our troops a significant edge. Keep an eye on Zulu Defence – they're the future of military tech."
