Edtech startup Kreedo Early Childhood Solutions raises Rs 10 crore in debt

Edtech startup Kreedo Early Childhood Solutions has raised Rs 10 crore in debt funding from Recur Club, a prominent debt marketplace for startups and SMEs.

The funding is structured as a curated debt stack, strategically combining short-term and long-term debt lines, including both secured and unsecured debt instruments.

Prior to this investment, the startup raised $4 million in a Series A funding round led by Singapore-based Heritas Capital and existing investor UBS Optimus Foundation, with participation from other investors.

Kreedo was founded in 2012 by husband-wife duo Mridula Shridhar and VK Manikandan, both alumni of IIM-C, to change the quality of education delivered in affordable private schools and preschools in the early years.

Kreedo focuses on affordable private schools, offering non-franchise solutions to improve early education for low-income families.

The startup's offerings aim to enhance learning in over 350,000 affordable private schools, catering to families with annual fees under Rs 30,000.
