Bengaluru-based edtech startup ODA Class has raised $500,000 in a Series B funding round led by Skywalker Education Technology Co. Ltd. (Singapore), Daituzi Education Technology Corporation Limited, and Matrix Partners China.
The round brings the startup's all-time raise to $12.75 million. It raised $9 million in 2021, followed by $3 million in 2022 and $250,000 in 2023.
What does ODA Class do?
Founded in 2019, ODA Class offers live online courses for students from classes 1 to 10, leveraging AI technologies and innovative marketing strategies.
With a focus on providing high-quality education at accessible rates, the startup claims to have served over 25,000 long-term students and aims to enroll 100,000 students by 2024.
Purpose of fundraising
ODA Class plans to use the raised capital to enhance its technological capabilities and expand its product offerings, focusing particularly on AI integration and digital marketing.

ODA Class' financial growth
ODA Class' revenue grew from Rs 26.90 crore in FY 2021-22 to Rs 63.76 crore in FY 2022-23, further increasing to Rs 65.81 crore in FY 2023-24.
The startup also optimised its expenditures, which were reported at Rs 79.20 crore in FY 2021-22, Rs 107.81 crore in FY 2022-23, and Rs 85.20 crore in FY 2023-24.
