Fintech infrastructure startup Zynk has raised $5 million (about Rs 44 crore) in a seed funding round led by Web3 and blockchain-focused investment firm Hivemind Capital, with participation from Coinbase Ventures, Transpose Platform VC, Polymorphic Capital, Tykhe Ventures, Alliance DAO, and Contribution Capital.

Founded in April 2025 by Prashanth Swaminathan (former venture partner at Woodstock Fund), Manish Bhatia (former CTO of Amazon Pay India), and Abhishek Pitti (co-founder of IBC Media), Zynk is building a blockchain-based payment infrastructure designed to make instant cross-border settlements possible without the need for pre-funded liquidity.

The startup'd platform supports transactions across USD, EUR, AED, INR, MXN, and PHP corridors, serving fintechs, remittance providers, trading platforms, neobanks, payroll systems, and B2B payment processors. It charges a fee based on the transaction volume or liquidity usage.

Zynk plans to use the new capital to expand its international corridor coverage, enhance compliance and security systems, and forge partnerships with global banks and payment institutions. The Hyderabad-based startup claims to have achieved 70% month-on-month growth since its quiet launch earlier this year.
