60-minute clothes delivery startup Slikk has raised $300,000 in a pre-seed funding round led by Better Capital, with participation from Untitledxyz Ventures.

The startup plans to use the raised capital to scale its offerings to over 100 brands, set up a large-format dark store, and expand delivery coverage to 70% of Bengaluru's pin codes.

Revolutionizing the fast fashion industry

Founded by Akshay Gulati, Slikk aims to revolutionize the fast fashion industry by offering 60-minute deliveries, focusing on Gen Z and young millennials, who are known for their impulsive shopping habits.

“GenZs and young millennials today are extremely impulsive shoppers and the biggest TG for fast fashion brands. This impulse is driven by high frequency refreshment of trends/designs and faster delivery," said Gulati.

"Slikk intends to solve this problem by bringing in new trends and designs from upcoming fast fashion brands every week and a delivery timeline of 60 min which will give an altogether different shopping experience to customers compared to legacy fashion marketplaces," he added.

Expanding to other metropolitan cities

In addition to clothes, Slikk plans to expand its product range to include beauty, personal care, and home decor, addressing the broader lifestyle needs of its target customers. It also plans to expand its presence in other metropolitan cities in the country.

“Fashion is broken, and fast fashion missed the mark. Slikk is an ambitious attempt to ‘make great fashion easy’ for everyone. I’m excited to support a team dedicated to solving this challenge with the right expertise," said Vaibhav Domkundwar from Better Capital.
