Healthtech startup Humors Tech has raised Rs 2 crore in its pre-seed funding round from Venture Catalysts.

The funding will help the startup launch commercially, conduct clinical validation studies, and expand globally with its flagship product, Respyr.

What is the purpose of fundraising?

The proceeds from the pre-seed funding will primarily focus on three areas: ramping up Respyr’s commercial launch, conducting clinical validation studies, and expanding into global markets.

Humors Tech plans to leverage this funding to make Respyr widely accessible and operational in diverse healthcare settings.

It aims to integrate Respyr into fitness apps and wearables, facilitating advanced health tracking and timely medical interventions.

What does Respyr do?

Respyr employs a combination of Artificial Intelligence (AI), the Internet of Things (IoT), and patented biomarker analysis to detect and monitor various health conditions, including diabetes, hypertension, heart, liver, kidney, and respiratory issues.

This proactive health screening device shifts healthcare from a reactive approach to a more proactive one, aiming to intervene before diseases cause substantial impact.

Users can monitor their health by simply breathing into the device, which then analyzes unique biomarker signatures and shares comprehensive health data via a mobile app, offering actionable suggestions for health improvement.

Humors Tech operates on a dual B2B and B2B2C model, catering to corporates, insurers, government hospitals, remote healthcare facilities, and consumers. This broad applicability positions Respyr to address a total addressable market (TAM) of 612 million individuals in India, starting with a serviceable available market (SAM) of 163 million health-conscious individuals.
