India SME Investment Fund, Namita Thapar, others invest Rs 95 crore in clothing brand Bonkers Corner

Omnichannel clothing brand Bonkers Corner has raised Rs 95 crore (about $10.5 million) in a Series A funding round led by India SME Investment Fund, with participation from Radhakrishna Ramnarain Pvt Ltd, Namita Thapar and more than 20 other investors.

Private equity firm India SME Investments led the round with an investment of Rs 64.5 crore (about $7.15 million). Radhakrishna Ramnarain Pvt Ltd invested Rs 17.8 crore, while Rajesh Raheja contributed Rs 3 crore. Entrepreneur and Shark Tank India judge Namita Thapar participated through Thapar Vision LLP with Rs 50 lakh, completing the Rs 1.5 crore investment commitment she had made on the show. The remaining amount was contributed by more than 20 investors, including several angel investors.

Founded in 2020 by Shubham Gupta, Bonkers Corner is a streetwear-focused fashion label catering to both men and women. Its product portfolio includes oversized graphic T-shirts, gym wear, hoodies, sweatshirts and co-ord sets.

For the financial year ended March 2025, the Mumbai-based company reported operating revenue of Rs 123 crore, up 23% year on year. The company also posted a profit of Rs 4.3 crore during the fiscal year.
