Defence tech startup Ammunic Systems has raised $1.1 million in a seed funding round led by India Accelerator and its multi-stage VC arm Finvolve.

The startup aims to scale its existing products and build new indigenous defence technologies. Ammunic said it will use the funds to accelerate its innovation roadmap and expand operational capacity. The startup will focus primarily on research and development, scaling up manufacturing, team expansion and new product development, while also enhancing its existing product lines.

“This investment from India Accelerator is not just capital — it’s a vote of confidence in a mission we’ve poured our hearts into. At Ammunic Systems, we’re not just building defence technologies; we’re building belief — that India can lead from the front in securing its own future. Every system we design, every solution we test, is a step toward an India that stands stronger, more self-reliant, and future-ready,” said Priyanka Singhal, Founder of Ammunic Systems.

Incepted in 2024, Ammunic Systems is recognised as a defence R&D firm focussed in the design and development of weapon systems with the core competence in the Advanced Electronic Fuzes, Warheads & Munition Integration Technologies.
