Last week, Indian startups raised over $71 million in funding, with Specialty chemical startup Mstack raising $40 million alone.
High-value deals
A diverse range of sectors attracted investments during the week, with Robotics leading the pack. Leading this sector was Haber Nets, which raised $38 million in a funding round. SaaS startup Spry Therapeutics raised $15 million.
The list was followed by the D2C Babycare brand Bumtum, Economy Process Solutions, and Mobility startup Urja Mobility, which collectively raised $38.3 million in funding.
Bumtum raised $14.5 million, Economy Process Solutions raised $12 million, and Urja Mobility raised $11.8 million.
Emerging startups
Beauty startup Beauté Secrets raised the smallest amount, securing $190,000 in a funding round. This was followed by D2C startup Dorje Teas, which raised $210,000 in a Seed funding round. Assistive technology startup Social Hardware raised $380,000 in a Seed funding round.
Analytics startup iRasus Technologies raised $470,000 in a Seed funding round, while onlygood.ai raised $500,000 in a Seed funding round.
Traveltech startup Holiday Tribe followed, securing $640,000 in a Seed funding round. Pharmaceutical packaging startup Sorich and Data engineering startup Datazip each raised $1 million—Sorich in a pre-IPO funding round and Datazip in a Seed funding round.
Finance automation and cash flow management startup ZenStatement raised $1.62 million in a Seed funding round, while Aerial Intelligence startup Aereo raised $1.8 million in a Series B funding round.
AI startup Nayan Tech raised $2 million in a Pre-Series A funding round, and AI startup Frammer AI raised $2 million in a Seed funding round. AI startup Figr raised $2.25 million in a Series A funding round, and Fintech startup Swara Fincare followed closely, securing $2.3 million in a Series A funding round.
Dental care startup Dezy raised $6 million, Agri biotech startup BioPrime raised $6 million in a Series A funding round, and Spacetech startup XDLINX secured $7 million in a Seed funding round.
Meanwhile, Suraasa, AI-powered delivery platform Adloggs, Healthtech startup Humm Care, AI healthcare startup Jivi, and Gaming publisher Deftouch kept the funding figures under wraps.
Merger and acquisition highlights
The period also witnessed strategic mergers and acquisitions. Ozonetel acquired CloudConnect Communications, eBikeGo purchased Varcas Automobiles, Exicom acquired US-based EV charging company Tritium, and Mumbai-based The Good Glamm Group acquired Sirona Hygiene.
