Between December 23 and December 27, 2024, as many as 8 startups from diverse sectors raised $44.67 million in funding from investors.
These sectors include EV, AI, Semiconductor, IoT, Manufacturing, Edtech, and Gaming. Last week, Indian startups raised over $206 million, with Zetwerk raising nearly $90 million alone.
High-value deals
A diverse range of sectors attracted investments during the week, with Manufacturing leading the pack. Leading this sector was EPACK Prefab, which raised $20 million in funding. Stock market super app Univest raised $10 million.
The list was followed by Semiconductor startup Mindgrove, Edtech startup Sparkl Edventure, and Sustainable investment platform SustVest, which collectively raised $13.7 million.
Mindgrove raised $8 million, Sparkl Edventure raised $4 million, and SustVest raised $1.7 million.
Leanworx raised $972,000 in a Seed funding round. Meanwhile, Proxgy and Naxatra Labs kept the funding figures under wraps.
Mergers and acquisitions
The period also saw strategic mergers and acquisitions. Aurionpro Solutions acquired Fenixys, Naza Tech bought more stake in Absolute Sports, TVS Motor raised its stake in DriveX Mobility, and Xcelerate acquired a stake in Carisma Solutions.
