Noida-based edtech startup Innovartan Learning Solutions recently raised Rs 5 crore in a pre-seed funding round co-led by prominent investors Gokul Rajaram and Amit Singhal.
The capital infusion supports Innovartan’s vision to create an integrated learning approach that bridges traditional school education and competitive exam preparation, addressing a significant gap in the Indian education system.
Aiming to bridge the education gap
Founded in 2023 by Prashant Sharma, Innovartan Learning Solutions targets a pressing issue within India’s fragmented education system.
Currently, many students attend school mainly for board exam preparation but rely on separate coaching centers for competitive exams like engineering and medical entrance tests.
Innovartan believes that this dual-track approach can be stressful and financially burdensome for families and often necessitates student migration to urban hubs for specialized coaching.
The startup seeks to bring these resources directly into schools, making them self-sufficient centers for both board and competitive exam preparation.
Empowering schools to deliver comprehensive education
With the newly secured funding, Innovartan Learning Solutions aims to equip schools with the necessary tools, resources, and expertise to integrate competitive exam coaching into their existing curriculum.
This integration is designed to improve student outcomes by eliminating the need for external coaching, thereby strengthening the schools’ intellectual capacities and supporting students' preparation for competitive exams.
The initiative allows students to focus on their academics in a familiar, less pressured environment, close to their families, and without the disruptions caused by relocating to different cities for coaching.
Reducing the financial burden on families
Innovartan Learning’s model is intended to reduce the financial strain on families by minimizing the need for costly, separate coaching classes.
By enabling schools to offer competitive exam training as part of the curriculum, students can benefit from a unified learning experience that aligns with their educational needs.
