LegalKart, an Indian legal technology platform, recently raised Rs 6.5 crore in a funding round led by existing investors.
Founded by Dr. Arvind Singhatiya in 2019, the Gurugram-based startup aims to simplify and broaden access to legal services through its AI-driven solutions.
The startup plans to use the raised capital to support its growth plans, including the expansion of its technology and market reach, especially within India’s tier II and III cities.
Allowing users to consult with legal professionals
LegalKart’s AI-enabled services allow users to consult with legal professionals across the country through audio and video calls, ensuring multilingual support in all major Indian languages.
“We are excited to have the continued trust and support of our investors,” Singhatiya said, emphasizing the impact of AI on the legal sector. “This new funding is a significant milestone for us as we work towards revolutionizing the legal landscape in India.”
Expanding services and product offerings
Beyond basic legal consultations, LegalKart’s platform offers specialized services such as property document verification, vehicle challan payments, and streamlined document drafting and review.
With the infusion of new capital, LegalKart intends to expand its AI-driven capabilities to streamline these services further, enhancing transparency and efficiency in legal processes.
