MontyCloud aims to double engineering team in India, raises funding in a Series A round

MontyCloud Inc., a startup providing AI-powered cloud operations, has raised an undisclosed amount of funding in a Series A1 funding round led by S3 Ventures.

Previously, the startup raised funding in the initial Series A round led by existing investor Lytical Ventures, with co-investments from Madrona and Raptor Group. 

What does MontyCloud do?

The MontyCloud DAY2 platform is a no-code Cloud Operations solution that simplifies CloudOps, without having to add additional IT resources.

With MontyCloud DAY2, IT teams can enable self-service consumption, standardize deployments, optimize cloud costs, deliver granular governance, reduce security C compliance issues, and automate incident management.

Purpose of fundraising

The funds will be strategically deployed to scale operations, accelerate product innovation, and expand MontyCloud’s reach into untapped global markets, the release notes.

As part of this expansion, the startup is also focusing on strengthening its platform with cutting-edge AI-driven automation and insights to deliver even greater value to customers.

MontyCloud's market presence

MontyCloud claims to have recorded a 7x revenue increase and a 100% expansion in its customer base, reaching nearly 1,000 global enterprises. The startup's Autonomous CloudOps platform is solving critical pain points in cloud management with AI-driven efficiency, scalability, and accuracy.

Notably, the startup is actively hiring top-tier talent in India. It is recruiting engineers and product managers with expertise in cloud-native platforms, AI, and large-scale distributed systems to strengthen its innovation roadmap.
