Nodwin Gaming gets Rs 64 crore from parent company Nazara Technologies

Nodwin Gaming, a prominent name in youth entertainment, gaming, and esports, has received Rs 64 crore investment from its parent company, Nazara Technologies Limited.

The fresh capital will fuel Nodwin Gaming's expansion efforts, bolster its capabilities, expand its portfolio of intellectual properties (IPs), and strengthen its presence in emerging markets.

Our focus is on capturing the attention and Timeshare of Mindshare of the global youth,” said Akshat Rathee, co-founder and managing director of NODWIN Gaming.

Leveraging acquisitions for growth

Nodwin Gaming has made several strategic acquisitions to enhance its offerings. The company recently invested in Comic Con India and acquired Trinity Gaming for Rs 24 crore, making it a fully owned subsidiary.

Other additions to its portfolio include Freaks 4U Gaming, a German esports and gaming marketing agency; Publishme, a marketing agency focused on West Asia and Turkey; Singapore-based live events company Branded; and Turkish esports company Ninja Global.

The acquisitions align with Nodwin's goal of expanding its intellectual property (IP) portfolio and reinforcing its presence in international markets.

Before this latest investment, Nodwin Gaming was valued at $410 million (Rs. 3,441 crore) as of November 2024. Alongside Nazara Technologies, notable shareholders include Krafton, JetSynthesys, and Sony Group.
