Non-hospital medical tourism startup Global Care (Lavanya Medicare Solutions Pvt Ltd) has raised $3 million in a Series A funding round led by 35North India Discovery Fund – II.

The startup plans to use the raised capital to build clinical excellence through strategic consulting and facilitating convenient access to patient care.

What does Global Care do?

Founded in 2016 by Rajeev Taneja, Global Care aims to bridge healthcare disparities worldwide. It offers cutting-edge medical care in various specialities in countries like India, Turkey, Dubai, Egypt, Germany, and Thailand.

The startup serves as a healthcare consultant, focusing on building clinical corridors and supporting patients who cannot receive treatment in their home countries. This approach aims to create a global ecosystem of clinical services.

Focused on further expansion

With the new funding, Global Care plans to expand its services internationally, particularly focusing on regions such as Eastern Africa, Francophone Africa, the Middle East, Central Asia, SAARC nations, South-East Asia, and North Africa.

The startup plans to strengthen its presence in these regions by establishing strategic partnerships and building infrastructure to support patients' needs in these areas.
