Ola is often criticized by its customers for unwanted cancellations and operational issues. Now, the company is looking to solve this issue with the launch of its Prime Plus service promises no cancellations and operational hassles.
It's worth mentioning that the service is not available to all the customers as it is in trial mode, which the company has already started for selected customers in Bengaluru, the Silicon Valley of India.
Ola CEO Bhavish Aggarwal, while announcing the launch, said, “Prime Plus: Best drivers, top cars, no cancellations or operational hassles. Will go live for select customers in Bangalore today. Do try it out."
Aggarwal went on to say that he would be "using it frequently" and would be tweeting about his experiences with the service. Rides booked through Prime Plus, according to Aggarwal, will be less expensive than Ola Mini, the platform's cheapest cab option.
Ola claimed identical benefits to Prime Plus at the time, including top-rated drivers, a 100% trip guarantee, zero cancellations, and 100% cashless payments.
