Optical fibre tools and equipment startup Digital Striker has raised $1 million, or around Rs 8.5 crore, in a funding round led by Foxhog Ventures, as it looks to move from imports to local manufacturing and expand its domestic footprint.

According to the company, Rs 5–6 crore from the fresh capital will be used to set up a manufacturing facility, hire key talent, and establish offices in major metro cities. The remaining funds will support continued import operations while local manufacturing capabilities are scaled up in phases.

Founded in 2021 by Priyanka, Digital Striker operates in the optical fibre tools and equipment segment, supplying products such as fibre strippers, cleavers, visual fault locators, power meters, and splicing machines. The company currently imports these tools and distributes them through a reseller-led network across India.

As part of its localisation strategy, Digital Striker plans to begin domestic manufacturing with 5–7 products in the initial phase, with a roadmap to expand its portfolio over time. The startup claims to have built a network of over 450 resellers and end customers nationwide.
