Pune's construction-tech firm Knest raises Rs 300 crore to deepen its R&D efforts

Lighthouse Funds today said it has invested Rs 300 crore in Knest, a construction technology firm that specialises in next-generation building systems, including aluminium formwork and patented hydraulic safety screens.

Founded in 2015, The firm provides modern construction technologies that accelerate project delivery, enhance worker safety, and reduce environmental impact. Headquartered in Pune, the company operates three state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities across Maharashtra and Gujarat, with an annual capacity exceeding 2 million square metres of aluminium formwork and an expanding line of construction safety solutions.

Knest plans to use the raised funding to deepen its R&D efforts, expand manufacturing capabilities, and integrate backwards, ensuring both quality and scale as the demand for modern construction solutions accelerates across India.
