The startup's approach includes setting up micro-centers for dialysis, starting from 2 beds, in collaboration with existing medical facilities. It aims to make dialysis services more accessible in areas where traditional centres are scarce.

Expanding tech infrastructure

The Shark Tank India-featured startup said it plans to use the raised capital towards expanding the technological infrastructure and implementing pipeline projects.

Shashank Moddhia, Founder of The RenalProject, said, "Funding from JIIF and others is vital for our growth stage, addressing the accessibility gap in dialysis services. Our micro-centers enable sustained dialysis therapy, minimizing travel risks like infection and fatigue. With this funding, we're committed to reshape renal healthcare, ensuring accessible dialysis for all in need.”

“This strategic investment signifies a major leap towards fulfilling our joint dedication to advance accessible and impactful healthcare solutions in the country," said Rajat Mehta, Chairman, JITO Incubation and Innovation Foundation.
