MoEngage, a customer engagement platform for consumer brands, has raised an additional $180 million as part of its Series F funding round, taking the total capital raised in the round to $280 million.

The latest tranche was led by new investors ChrysCapital and Dragon Funds, with participation from Schroders Capital and continued backing from existing investors TR Capital and B Capital.

The fresh capital follows a $100 million raise announced in November 2025. MoEngage will use the raised capital to accelerate product innovation, particularly across its Merlin AI suite, expand go-to-market teams in North America and EMEA, and evaluate strategic acquisitions that could extend its platform capabilities or support global expansion.

Alongside the funding, MoEngage completed its second employee tender offer, amounting to around $15 million. A total of 259 current and former employees participated in the liquidity programme. The transaction also included selective secondary sales by early investors such as Eight Roads Ventures, Helion Venture Partners, Z47 and Ventureast.

“This liquidity programme ensures that employees and early investors can participate in the value created as the company scales globally,” said Raviteja Dodda, co-founder and CEO of MoEngage.

Founded in 2014 by Raviteja Dodda and Yashwanth Kumar, the Bengaluru- and San Francisco-headquartered firm provides insight-driven customer engagement, analytics and messaging tools used by product and marketing teams across web, mobile, email and messaging channels.

Its customer base includes more than 1,350 consumer brands across 75 countries, including SoundCloud, McAfee, Flipkart, Kayak, Domino’s and Deutsche Telekom. The platform powers digital experiences for over 2 billion users every month.

MoEngage positions itself as a unified platform at a time when enterprises are re-evaluating fragmented marketing, product and analytics stacks and looking to consolidate spending on fewer systems with built-in AI and data capabilities.

Its MoEngage Inform product enables reliable delivery of critical transactional communications such as OTPs, alerts and account updates through a single API, keeping them separate from marketing campaigns.

“Enterprises are increasingly adopting AI-led customer engagement platforms built for global markets, and MoEngage fits that shift,” said Rishabh Iyer, vice president at ChrysCapital.
