Flipkart co-founder Binny Bansal-backed sexual health startup Allo Health has raised Rs 16 crore in a pre-Series A funding round led by Zerodha's investment arm Rainmatter, with participation from existing investors.

The startup will use the fresh capital to expand its physical clinic network, develop AI-powered treatment protocols, and enhance patient engagement across India.

Focus on hybrid healthcare

Founded by Ola's first employee Pranay Jivrajka, Allo Health blends physical clinics with digital tools, including AI-powered decision support and specially trained medical professionals. The startup's proprietary doctor training programs and research-based treatments help it address sexual health issues more efficiently.

It has also announced plans to invest in diagnostics, digital therapy, and private-label solutions.

Clinic network and patient outcomes

Allo claims to have served more than 200,000 patients nationwide, with an 85% improvement in patient outcomes. The startup has opened over 35 clinics in cities such as Bengaluru, Mumbai, Pune, Hyderabad, Chennai, Mysuru, and Ranchi.

With the newly raised funds, Allo intends to further strengthen its presence in these regions and broaden its reach across the country.

Path to expansion

Beyond sexual health, Allo plans to enter the mental health category, using the same structured approach that has guided its existing services.

Prior to this round, the startup raised $4.4 million in seed funding from early-stage VC firm Nexus Venture Partners, Binny Bansal, Zomato founder and CEO Deepinder Goyal, and others.
