Bengaluru-based nutrition startup Good Monk has secured $2 million in a pre-Series A funding round led by RPSG Capital Ventures, with continued participation from existing backers Multiply Ventures, Sharrp Ventures, and ThinKuvate.

The fresh capital will be used to accelerate research and development, as well as drive product innovation aimed at closing everyday nutritional gaps for Indian consumers.

Founded in 2022 by Amarpreet Singh Anand and Sahiba Kaur, Good Monk has positioned itself as a category-disrupting brand offering clinically validated nutrition mixes. The startup’s offerings—multivitamins, probiotics, and fiber supplements—are designed to blend seamlessly into daily meals without altering taste or smell.

These products cater to children, adults, and seniors, and aim to simplify nutrition through ease of use and scientific backing.

Leadership comments

“At Good Monk, we believe that nutrition should be easy, effective, and clean," said Anand. "Our mission is to empower Indian families to take control of their health without compromising on taste or convenience. We are thrilled to have RPSG Capital Ventures partner with us in this journey and are grateful for the continued belief by existing investors."

The investment marks another bet by RPSG Capital Ventures in India’s growing health and wellness sector, following previous investments in Nutrabay, Plix, and True Elements.

“We are seeing a surge in use of nutritional supplements, where consumers are seeking innovative formats that make dietary supplements uncomplicated, convenient and effective,” said Abhishek Goenka, managing partner at RPSG Capital Ventures.

Shark Tank India appearance

Good Monk gained national attention earlier this year when it landed a deal from Vineeta Singh, co-founder of Sugar Cosmetics, on the fourth season of the television show Shark Tank India. Since then, the brand claims to have grown 11-fold over the last year.

The startup retails its products through its website and leading e-commerce platforms, including Amazon and Flipkart. It also channels a portion of its proceeds to community-focused initiatives, including mid-day meal programs, aligning its growth ambitions with broader social impact.
