Ulook co-founders
Bengaluru-based spacetech startup Ulook has raised Rs 19 crore (approximately $2.3 million) in a funding round co-led by GrowX Ventures and InfoEdge Ventures, as it looks to strengthen India’s capabilities in radio-frequency intelligence and spectrum awareness.
Founded by Siddhesh Naik and Adheesh Boratkar, Ulook develops autonomous satellite swarms for RF sensing and spectrum monitoring, designed to detect, track, and analyse activity on the Earth’s surface, especially in environments where optical or radar-based systems face limitations.
The startup will use the raised funding to accelerate satellite and sensor development, expand the company’s RF-sensing platform, and advance its onboard AI and swarm autonomy ahead of the planned launch of its first satellite swarms within the next 12-18 months. A large portion of the funding will go toward talent acquisition across RF systems design, embedded systems, machine learning analytics, and satellite mission engineering, as well as payload qualification and UAV-based testing.
Ulook’s proprietary payload suite, PulseTrack, provides real-time situational awareness across satellites, drones, and high-altitude platforms for applications such as maritime surveillance, infrastructure monitoring, telecommunications, and disaster response.
