Sportstech startup Hudle raises Rs 7Cr in a pre-Series A round led by IPV, others

Sportstech platform Hudle has raised Rs 7 crore or nearly $840,000 in a pre-Series A funding round led by Inflection Point Ventures, a Gurugram-based angel investment firm. The round also saw participation from Sky Impact Capital, Survam Partners and Anay Ventures. 

With this round of funding, The startup plans to broaden its footprint, refine its offerings, and ramp up marketing endeavours.

Redefining the preventive healthcare market

Founded by Suhail Narain, Arjun Singh Verma and Sonam Taneja, Hudle seeks to redefine the preventive healthcare market through sports. With a projection that Indians will allocate $98 billion annually to fitness and wellness by 2025, the startup aims to integrate active sports into the lifestyles of 100 million Indians.

The startup facilitates the discovery of local sports venues, booking activities, and fostering community among sports enthusiasts, effectively bridging the gap between fitness and social interaction. Notably, Ajinkya Rahane is Hudle's brand ambassador.

Witnessing exponential growth 

Hudle claims that it has over 100,000 monthly games across more than 1,300 venues in 60 cities, engaging a vibrant community of over 500,000 players.
