Superfone, a Bengaluru-based business phone and CRM app, has raised $1.9 million in a pre-Series A funding round led by YourNest Venture Capital, with participation from Ankur Capital, Finsight Seed Fund, and a consortium of angel investors.

This investment, part of the YourNest-SanchiConnect Velocity Program 2024, aims to fuel Superfone's mission of transforming how small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) manage communication and operations.

The startup intends to utilize the funds to acquire national-level telecom licenses, enhance engineering and product teams, and boost customer acquisition strategies to expand its reach nationwide.

Founded in 2021 by Pradeep Dodle and Nikhil Goenka, Superfone offers an app-based solution that replaces traditional SIM cards with a comprehensive platform integrating tools like CRM, lead management, WhatsApp marketing, and AI-powered agents.

The startup claims that it serves over 10 million small businesses in India, helping them streamline operations, improve customer engagement, and drive growth.

According to the startup, their software-first approach enables SMBs to manage communication and marketing seamlessly, empowering them to achieve growth while improving customer engagement.

Notably, it has secured telecom approvals, including a Unified Licence (VNO) for the Karnataka telecom circle and a Pan-India Unified Licence from the Department of Telecommunications (DoT), which allows the company to offer various telecom services across the country.
