Traveltech startup Bookingjini has raised an undisclosed amount in a Pre-Series A funding round led by Inflection Point Ventures, a Gurugram-based angel investment firm. 

The startup plans to use the raised funds for product development and customer acquisition strategies.

Bookingjini offers a comprehensive range of services, including a seamless booking experience for hoteliers and their guests. It features a smart booking engine, channel manager, guest relationship management, analytics, and mobile accessibility.

The startup said that these tools are crafted to empower hotels, enabling them to thrive in a rapidly evolving market.

Madhukar Bhardwaj, Sr. Vice President at Inflection Point Ventures, highlights the challenges faced by boutique hotels, particularly their reliance on intermediaries for bookings.

Bhardwaj said Bookingjini addresses these challenges by offering technology solutions that reduce dependency on traditional intermediaries, thereby cutting costs and streamlining operations.

"This not only empowers the hotels but also helps in cutting down the cost of traditional intermediaries. Bookingjini's vision on simplifying hotel operations in an ever-evolving digital landscape is a game changer," Bhardwaj added.

Bookingjini's market presence 

Bookingjini has established a significant presence in India, serving over 2100 paying customers. The startup claims to have achieved notable milestones, including partnerships with 8 State Tourism Development Corporations and surpassing $1.2 million in Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR). 

The Indian market for this industry is poised for substantial growth, projected to reach a staggering $57 billion by the year 2027.
