Turbostart leads $1 million investment in Ai Health Highway

Turbostart, a global venture capital platform, has invested $1 million in Ai Health Highway as part of its pre-Series A funding round. 

The funding is part of a larger $1.5 million round that includes notable co-investments from Rainmatter by Zerodha, The Chennai Angels, BITS BioCyTiH Foundation, and other angel investors. 

The financial backing will help Ai Health Highway strengthen its presence in India and accelerate its regulatory approvals globally. Moreover, it will enable the expansion of its AI and machine learning (AI/ML) solutions in the cardio-respiratory domain.

Ai Health Highway’s flagship product

Ai Health Highway’s flagship product, AiSteth, is India’s first AI-enabled stethoscope. This innovative tool is transforming the landscape of cardiac care by helping healthcare professionals and even non-specialists interpret heart sounds for early detection of life-threatening conditions.

AiSteth leverages advanced artificial intelligence and signal processing to convert traditional stethoscopes into more sophisticated diagnostic tools. This allows healthcare providers to make more informed clinical decisions, potentially saving lives through early intervention.

Expanding healthcare access with AI

The AiSteth stethoscope integrates easily into existing medical workflows, offering high-quality heart sound capture, analysis, and data-sharing capabilities. It makes healthcare more accessible and affordable, especially in underserved communities.

As part of Ai Health Highway's larger mission, the company aims to reduce global premature deaths caused by non-communicable diseases (NCDs), which are responsible for over 41 million deaths each year. Their goal is to decrease these deaths by 30% by 2030, focusing on early detection and intervention.
