Visa2Fly, a traveltech startup aiming to streamline the visa application process, has raised $2 million in a seed funding round led by M Venture Partners, a Singapore-based venture capital firm. The round also saw participation from Flipkart Ventures, FinSight Ventures, and Thinkuvate.

Despite advances in flight and hotel bookings, the visa process remains one of the most opaque and frustrating aspects of travel, particularly for outbound Indian tourists. In 2024, over 28 million Indian nationals travelled overseas, according to data from the Ministry of Tourism.

While online travel agencies (OTAs) and major travel brands have made booking flights, hotels, and experiences easier than ever, visa accessibility continues to remain a significant barrier still plagued by opaque application processes, procedural delays, and inefficiencies.

Visa2Fly said it is solving this gap with AI-driven automation, real-time tracking, and seamless integrations to provide travellers a smooth visa application journey.

Partnership with leading travel brands

Founded in 2022 by Vijayendra Bawa and Dhruv Kumar, Visa2Fly has built an extensive network of partnerships with leading travel brands, including ixigo, Acko, NiyoGlobal, SpiceJet, and WeGo, embedding its visa solutions directly into their platforms.

The platform enables travellers to apply for visas to over 70 destinations, including the UAE, Singapore, Vietnam, Egypt, the UK, and several European countries.

"Visas have long been one of the most outdated parts of travel - confusing, time-consuming, and unpredictable. Travel brands and OTAs have revolutionized how we plan and book our journeys, but all of this hinges on one critical factor - visa approvals," said Vijayendra Bawa.

Purpose of fundraising

The startup plans to use the raised capital to expand its tech-enabled verification tools, improve automation in visa processing, and strengthen partnerships with leading travel platforms.

By doing so, it aims to empower travellers with seamless visa solutions, ensuring that visa-related roadblocks no longer hinder global exploration.

"With this investment, we’re doubling down on our mission to solve this global challenge once and for all. By further automating key processes, integrating AI-driven verification mechanisms, and enhancing accessibility, we aim to eliminate inefficiencies that have plagued travellers for decades." Bawa added.
