Voice-first generative AI startup Gnani.ai raises Rs 30 crore in a Series A round

Gnani.ai, a Bengaluru-based voice-first generative AI startup, recently raised Rs 30 crore (~$4 million) in a Series A funding round led by Gurugram-based Info Edge Ventures.

The startup plans to use the raised capital to expand its business and sales operations across different geographies. The latest investment brings its all-time raise to around $8 million. It also counts Samsung Ventures as an investor. 

Whoa are the founders of Gnani.ai?

Founded in 2016 by Ganesh Gopalan and Ananth Nagaraj, Gnani.ai has been at the forefront of transforming customer experience through deep tech AI innovations. 

Prior to founding Gnani.ai, the founders have worked on scaling tech businesses at Texas Instruments, IBM and Aricent.

This investment will significantly bolster our efforts to expand our sales footprint,” the founders said.

Products and offerings

Gnani.ai offers a no-code voice-first platform with a range of product capabilities, including omnichannel conversational automation, agent assist, voice biometrics, and omnichannel analytics.

The startup also has a patented tech stack that supports text-to-speech (TTS), speech-to-text (STT), natural language processing (NLP), and augmented intelligence across 14 Indian languages in addition to English.

Recently, It introduced Voice-first AI Small Language Models (SLMs) targeting sectors like banking, insurance, automotive, and retail.
