Mumbai-based 9Unicorns, a global accelerator program and venture fund, recently announced the appointment of Lumani Shah as Principal. 

With a rich background in professional services and strategic growth, Shah is set to play a crucial role in driving the success of the accelerator’s portfolio companies. Earlier this month, the firm onboarded Vinod Keni as a Partner.

Before joining 9Unicorns, Shah was a Senior Associate at McKinsey & Company, where she delivered strategic advisories across various sectors, such as logistics, SaaS, and infrastructure services.


Her career has been marked by a blend of financial expertise, strategic thinking, and execution excellence gained from nearly a decade of experience in the field.

In her new role as Principal, Lumani Shah will leverage her diverse skill set to foster growth initiatives and guide the accelerator’s portfolio companies towards success.

Her involvement is expected to fortify 9Unicorns' status as a catalyst for innovation and entrepreneurship.

9Unicorns recently celebrated the hosting of its Global Demo Day, where more than 20 startups from diverse sectors were set to secure significant funding. Additionally, the company strengthened its leadership team by appointing Vinod Keni as a partner, who will focus on developing the portfolio for Fund I and enhancing the fundraising and limited partner network.
